Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute testing strategies for assessing the resiliency of applications, systems, and networks.

• Develop, implement, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts focused on resiliency and recovery scenarios.

• Perform stress testing, load testing, and failure testing to identify vulnerabilities and areas for improvement.

• Analyse test results and provide clear, actionable feedback to stakeholders.

• Work on root cause analysis of failures and recommend improvements to architecture, processes, and technologies to enhance system reliability.

• Monitor system behaviour during tests and document findings, highlighting potential risks and mitigation strategies.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in software testing, quality assurance, or systems engineering with a focus on resiliency testing.

• Strong understanding of system architecture, networking, and database management.

• Familiarity with testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Rational Performance Tester, JMeter) and programming/scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java).

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices.

• Familiarity with DevOps processes and tools.
