Oracle JDE S&D Functional Consultant (RARR Job 6349)

We are looking for an experienced Oracle JD Edwards (JDE) SD Functional Consultant with strong expertise in implementation, upgrade, enhancement, application management, and production support projects. The candidate should possess deep functional knowledge of the JDE Sales & Distribution module and related business processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support Oracle JD Edwards Sales & Distribution (SD) implementations, upgrades, enhancements, and AMS engagements.
• Gather business requirements and provide effective solution designs aligned with business objectives.
• Perform system configuration, functional testing, integrated testing, and user acceptance support.
• Conduct end-user training sessions and prepare training materials.
• Work closely with business users, technical teams, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
• Analyze business processes and recommend best practices using JD Edwards capabilities.
• Support production issues, troubleshoot functional problems, and coordinate with technical teams for resolution.
• Prepare Functional Design Documents (FDDs) and detailed specifications for development and integrations.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong experience in Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Sales & Distribution (SD) module.
• Hands-on experience in JDE implementation, upgrade, enhancement, and production support projects.

  • Contract Billing
• Experience in solution design, system configuration, integrated testing, and user training.
• Strong knowledge of JDE EnterpriseOne tools and citizen developer features, including:
  • Form Extensions
  • Orchestrator / Orchestration
  • Watchlists
  • User Defined Objects (UDO)
  • Notifications
• Experience with JD Edwards inbound and outbound integrations.
• Exposure to custom solution design and enhancement requirements.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders.

Good to Have:

• Experience in preparing Functional Design Documents and development specifications.
• Knowledge of integration frameworks and middleware solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.

Preferred Certifications:

• Oracle JD Edwards certifications will be an added advantage.
