Oracle EBS Technical Consultant (RARR Job 5854)

We are looking for an experienced Oracle EBS Technical Consultant with strong expertise in the Finance domain. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Oracle EBS technical development and deep understanding of Financial modules (AP, AR, GL – mandatory). The role involves development, customization, performance tuning, and support of Oracle EBS applications

Mandatory Skill Set

• Strong experience in Oracle EBS Technical Development

• Finance domain expertise is mandatory, with hands-on experience in:

  • Accounts Payable (AP)

  • Accounts Receivable (AR)

  • General Ledger (GL)

• Strong programming experience in Oracle PL/SQL

Technical Skills Required

• Hands-on experience in:

  • Oracle PL/SQL

  • Oracle Forms & Reports

  • BI Publisher

  • Oracle Workflow

  • Oracle Application Framework (OAF)

  • Shell Scripting

• Experience in performance tuning and debugging Oracle EBS applications

• Good understanding of Oracle EBS architecture and technical standards

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and support Oracle EBS technical components across Financial modules (AP, AR, GL, FA, PA)

• Design and implement technical solutions using PL/SQL, Forms, Reports, BI Publisher, Workflow, OAF, and Shell scripts

• Collaborate closely with functional consultants and business users to understand requirements and convert them into technical specifications

• Perform unit testing, support UAT, and participate in code reviews

• Handle deployments and post-production support activities

• Ensure adherence to Oracle EBS best practices and development standards

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner

Desired Skills

• Experience in retail or finance domain is preferred

• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and in a team environment

• Good communication and stakeholder management skills
