Oracle DBA Lead (RARR Job 5546)

Mandatory Skills

• Experience in Grid Installation and Grid Upgradation.

• Experience in Oracle RAC, Performance Tuning, Dataguard, and knowledge of GoldenGate.

• Expert-level understanding of Oracle Database Architecture.

Technical Expertise

• Specialized in Oracle RAC with good understanding of the complexity of RAC Architecture across Servers, OS, Network, and Storage Layer.

• Exposure to Oracle Engineered Systems (Exadata, SSC Box & ExaCM).

• SQL Tuning skills and experience in refactoring SQL queries to improve performance.

• Ability to diagnose performance issues across SQL, Application, Database, System, and Storage.

• Complete understanding of Oracle Database Backup and Recovery options.

• Expert knowledge of HA features of Oracle Database.

Collaboration & Problem-Solving

• Ability to work with various teams (Development, Storage Administrators, Network Administrators, System Administrators, and Business Users) to resolve performance issues.

• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to transverse across the infrastructure layer to diagnose issues.

Work Environment

• Ability to work under pressure in production environments.

• Experience working with databases on all flavors of OS.

Domain Experience

• Prior working experience in Telecom or BFSI companies is preferred.
