Optimizely / Episerver Developer (RARR Job 5871)

Responsibility:

• We are looking for an experienced Optimizely Developer to design, build, and maintain enterprise-level web solutions on the Optimizely CMS/DXP platform. You will collaborate with architects, business analysts, designers, and QA to deliver high-performance, scalable, and user-friendly digital experiences.
• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Optimizely CMS (Episerver) and Commerce.
• Build reusable components, templates, and blocks for consistent content management. Integrate Optimizely with external systems (CRM, DAM, ERP, Marketing Automation).
• Implement and customize personalization, search, analytics, and A/B testing features. Develop content migration strategies and scripts for platform transitions.
• Ensure application security, performance optimization, and SEO compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (BA, QA, DevOps, UI/UX) in Agile delivery. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices. Support deployments and troubleshoot production issues.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong development experience with Optimizely CMS/DXP (Episerver).
• Proficiency in .NET Core / C#, ASP.NET MVC, and Web API development.
• Knowledge of Razor views, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, React/Angular (optional).
• Experience with Optimizely Search & Navigation, Content Delivery API, Commerce Cloud.
• Understanding of Azure Cloud, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices. Familiarity with SQL Server, Entity Framework, LINQ.
• Strong grasp of content modeling, component-based architecture, and reusable libraries. Experience in content migration and upgrading older Episerver solutions.
• Problem-solving, debugging, and performance tuning skills.
• Nice to Have Experience with Optimizely Data Platform (ODP) or Experimentation (A/B testing).
• Knowledge of Headless CMS and GraphQL integrations. Familiarity with Optimizely SaaS offerings and APIs. Exposure to SEO, accessibility, and responsive design best practices
