Automation Testing -Telecom Domain (RARR Job 5398)

• We are looking for a highly skilled Automation Test Engineer with strong expertise in UI Automation, API Testing, Test Orchestration, and CI/CD within the Telecom domain. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Selenium, Python/Java/JavaScript Automation, and various test automation frameworks.
• Skilled and experienced professional with a bachelor’s degree in marketing, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, and at least 5+ years of experience working within scaled agile development teams.
• The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of telecom concepts such as BSS (Business Support System), OSS (Operational Support System), RAN (Radio Access Network), and core network technologies, along with comprehensive expertise in testing processes across various stages, especially in enterprise certification and end-to-end testing within the telecom domain.
• A solid grasp of customer journey certification, from ordering to network provisioning, as well as knowledge of AT&T retail front-end applications and customer data flow through downstream systems is highly preferred.
• Exceptional automation skills, with proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Java, or JavaScript, and experience with AI-TAP tools, coupled with strong problem-solving abilities, are essential.
• The candidate should possess excellent communication and collaboration skills, a talent for designing and executing detailed test plans, and the ability to analyze test results, report metrics, and drive defects to resolution in a cross-functional team environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium and other relevant automation tools.

• Perform API testing using RestAssured (Java), Postman, Karate, or SoapUI.

• Implement end-to-end automation using Selenium or Robo framework (GenAI).

• Design and manage test orchestration using TestNG, Junit (Java), PyTest (Python), or Mocha (JavaScript).

• Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to integrate test automation within CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, ADO, Pipelines).

• Work in an Agile environment, participating in scrum ceremonies, test planning, and defect triage.

• Ensure high-quality deliverables with strong coding practices and test automation strategies.

• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to define test requirements, automation strategies, and improvements.
