Key Responsibilities
-
Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements, challenges, and marketing objectives.

Act as a liaison between business teams, marketing, data, and technical stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective communication.

Analyze business needs and translate them into end-to-end Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) solution architectures.
-
Define detailed business use cases demonstrating how AEP capabilities can improve customer experience and business outcomes.
Adobe Experience Platform Architecture & Implementation
-
Architect and implement marketing solutions using Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), Real-Time CDP (RTCDP), Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO), and Adobe Journey Analytics (AJA).

Provide guidance on AEP capabilities including data ingestion, segmentation, personalization, activation, and real-time customer profiles.

Design and implement event-driven journeys, time-based campaigns, and real-time personalization use cases using Adobe Journey Optimizer.
-
Utilize XDM schemas, datasets, segments, and Real-Time Customer Profile (RTCP) to define journey triggers and conditions.
Migration & Integration
-
Lead migration of existing marketing and campaign platforms to Adobe Experience Platform, ensuring seamless transition and minimal business disruption.

Design and implement ETL pipelines and integrations for batch and streaming data ingestion.

Work with REST APIs, Event Forwarding, and outbound integrations to enable real-time data flow and activation.

Integrate AEP with various marketing cloud and campaign platforms to create a unified MarTech ecosystem.
Campaigns, Personalization & Optimization

Design, test, and manage email templates, push notifications, and in-app messaging within Adobe Journey Optimizer.

Implement offer decisioning and personalized content using Adobe Offer Library.
-
Conduct unit testing, UAT, and A/B testing to ensure optimal journey performance.
-
Monitor journey KPIs such as engagement and conversion, troubleshoot issues, and optimize continuously.
Data, Governance & Best Practices
-
Ensure best practices around data privacy, consent management, and compliance (GDPR, CCPA, etc.).

Maintain strong governance across data models, schemas, and activation strategies.
-
Support decision-making on tools, features, implementation approaches, and data source interactions.
Leadership & Delivery
-
Lead and mentor technical teams across implementation projects.
-
Estimate project efforts, define delivery plans, and recommend appropriate team structures.
-
Work effectively in an Agile/Scrum environment to ensure timely delivery.
Required Qualifications
Education
-
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Marketing Technology, or related field.
Experience
-
8+ years of experience architecting and implementing Marketing Automation / MarTech solutions.
-
Strong hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), RTCDP, Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO), and Adobe Journey Analytics (AJA).

Experience with Adobe Analytics, Adobe Campaign (Classic), Adobe Target, and Adobe Launch is a strong plus.
-
Must have led 2–3 large-scale Adobe implementations as a Technical / Solution Architect.

Experience with real-time personalization and transactional use cases across multiple customer touchpoints.
Technical Skills
-
Deep understanding of AEP components: XDM modeling, Schemas, Segment Builder, RTCP, Datasets, and Data Ingestion.

Strong knowledge of batch and streaming data sources, identity stitching, and audience activation.
-
Proficiency in JavaScript, JSON, RESTful APIs, and GraphQL.
-
Solid understanding of databases, data models, and data management best practices.
-
Experience with ETL processes and data integrations.
-
Familiarity with Customer Journey Analytics (CJA) and Adobe Offer Decisioning is a plus.
-
Experience with Tag Management tools such as Adobe Launch or Tealium is a plus.
Certifications
-
Relevant Adobe certifications across AEP, Analytics, Campaign, or Journey Optimizer are highly desirable.
