Must Have:
Domain Knowledge

Strong understanding of Indian and International Banking functions.

In-depth knowledge and working experience in Derivative Products, including:
-
Interest Rate Derivatives – Interest Rate Swaps, Swaptions, Caps & Floors, Cross Currency Swaps.
-
FX Options Strategies – Vanilla, Barriers, Straddles, Strangles, Accumulators, Target Redemptions, Digitals.
-
Fixed Income, Money Markets, and Foreign Exchange (Interbank & Corporate).
-

Comprehensive understanding of Lifecycle Events for each product, such as:
-
Pricing (Pre-deal and Post-deal)
-
Resets (Price and Interest)
-
Coupon/Interest Payments
-
Exercise and Expiry
-
Rollover and Rollback
-
Corporate Actions
-
-
Experience in Back-Office Functions, including:
-
Transfers, Settlements, and Netting
-
Message handling (Confirmation, Matching, Payments)
-
Journal Entries (Trade and Transfer events, Valuations)
-

Hands-on experience with leading Treasury and Risk Management systems such as Murex, Kondor, Calypso, FinMechanics.
Testing Skills
-
Strong verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder interaction.

Proficient in:
-
Test Strategy Creation, Test Planning, Test Case Design & Execution, and Defect Tracking (including Evidence Management).

Preparing Daily & Weekly Dashboards and reporting progress effectively.

Strong understanding of Banking IT Landscapes to design integration test cases covering persistent and non-persistent events.
-
Hands-on experience with Defect Management Tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps.
Good to Have:

Experience in Treasury Back-Office Operations from leading Indian or International Banks.

Application knowledge of FinMechanics.

Certifications in:
-
Treasury and Capital Market Products, and/or
-
Testing Standards (e.g., ISTQB or equivalent).

Experience in Test Automation Scripting.
