Mainframe Developer (RARR Job 6026)

We are looking for a skilled Mainframe Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong experience working with COBOL programming and mainframe systems, with the ability to design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications.

Mandatory Skills

• Hands-on experience in COBOL programming (design, coding, debugging, performance tuning).

• Strong knowledge of mainframe technologies (JCL, DB2, VSAM, CICS).

• Experience in batch and online processing.

• Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and optimize existing COBOL programs.

• Good understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) in mainframe environments.

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to integration with ERP/CRM systems.

• Knowledge of modernization tools for migrating legacy COBOL applications.

• Experience in Agile methodology.
