Job Description
We are looking for an experienced L2 Production Support Engineer with strong expertise in Linux Shell Scripting and Oracle, preferably from the banking domain. The candidate should be comfortable working in a 24×7 production support environment and be proactive in incident resolution and root cause analysis.
Roles & Responsibilities

Provide L2 production support for business-critical applications in a 24×7 rotational shift

Monitor application and system health, ensuring high availability and performance
-
Handle incident lifecycle management, including triage, investigation, resolution, and closure
-
Manage problem lifecycle management and PMR processes
-
Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and provide both temporary and permanent fixes
-
Coordinate effectively with L3 support teams and development teams for issue resolution
-
Participate in change management, release, and deployment activities
-
Ensure compliance with ITIL processes and best practices
-
Work closely with business and technical teams, adapting to changing priorities and business needs
-
Maintain clear documentation and communication during incidents and handovers
