L2/L3 Support (RARR Job 6335)

We are looking for an experienced IT Operations Specialist with 6-9 years of hands-on expertise to become a valuable member of our team. The ideal candidate brings solid proficiency in Windows and Linux server environments, practical knowledge of container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes and OpenShift, and the ability to write automation scripts using PowerShell, shell scripting, Python, or Perl. Key Responsibilities:

• Infrastructure Administration:
  • Administer Windows & Linux servers to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • Install, configure, upgrade, monitor, and maintain applications hosted on Linux and Windows servers.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure teams to maintain a stable and efficient environment.
• Scripting and Automation:
  • Develop and maintain scripts using PowerShell, shell, Perl, or Python to automate routine tasks and improve operational efficiency.
• User Support and Training:
  • Provide technical support to end-users, addressing application issues, usage, and functionality.
  • Conduct training sessions for users to enhance their understanding of application features and best practices.
• Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures.
  • Generate reports on system performance, usage statistics, and incident resolution.
• Collaboration and Communication:
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, QA, and project management.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand their needs and provide timely solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5-7 years of proven experience in Windows and Linux server administration.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, shell scripting, Python, or Perl.
• Familiarity with networking concepts and security best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Oracle, MySQL or PostgreSQL databases
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Experience with Jenkins for continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipeline management.
