Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Python Backend Developer with hands-on experience in FastAPI, system architecture, and end-to-end deployments. Exposure to Generative AI technologies, especially Azure OpenAI, is a strong advantage. This role involves building scalable backend systems, integrating AI capabilities, and working with unstructured data formats like PDFs and Word documents
Key Responsibilities
• Design and develop robust backend systems using Python and FastAPI
• Build and deploy RESTful APIs to support AI-driven applications
• Implement end-to-end system solutions, including architecture, development, testing, and deployment
• Integrate Azure OpenAI models and embeddings into enterprise applications (RAG, prompt engineering)
• Process and transform unstructured/semi-structured content (PDFs, DOCs, JSON) into structured formats
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients to deliver scalable solutions
• Ensure security, performance, and reusability of backend components
• Communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Qualifications
• 6–12 years of backend development experience with Python
• Strong expertise in FastAPI, API design, and integration
• Experience with Azure OpenAI, embeddings, and prompt engineering
• Familiarity with semantic search and handling unstructured data
• Proven track record of end-to-end system implementation and deployment
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills
Nice to Have
• Exposure to GraphRAG, Agentic AI, or similar advanced Gen AI architectures
• Experience with LangChain or other orchestration frameworks
• Background in document-heavy domains like legal, finance, or compliance
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and cloud deployments (Azure preferred)
