GCP Cloud Lead/ Architect (RARR Job 6135)

We are looking for a seasoned GCP Cloud Lead / Architect with strong expertise in designing, implementing, and managing scalable cloud solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure, migration strategies, and automation using Infrastructure-as-Code tools. This role requires strong technical depth along with leadership capabilities to drive architecture decisions and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and architect scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions on GCP
• Lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives from on-premise or other cloud platforms to GCP
• Develop and implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or Deployment Manager
• Manage and optimize GCP services including Compute, Storage, Networking, and IAM
• Automate processes using Python and shell scripting (Bash/Sh)
• Ensure best practices in cloud security, governance, and cost optimization
• Collaborate with DevOps, development, and business teams for solution delivery
• Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to team members
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and performance issues
• Document architecture, processes, and solutions for stakeholder

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 8–12 years of experience in cloud infrastructure and architecture
• Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Proven experience in cloud migration and infrastructure design
• Proficiency in Python and shell scripting (Bash/Sh)
• Strong knowledge of Linux system administration
• Hands-on experience with Terraform / Deployment Manager (IaC tools)
• Deep understanding of GCP services (Compute Engine, VPC, IAM, Storage, etc.)
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
