We are looking for an experienced Duck Creek Policy Developer / Senior Developer with a strong background in Duck Creek Policy configuration. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, configuring, testing, and supporting Duck Creek Policy modules using Express 2 and 3, ensuring high-quality delivery across multiple insurance solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with stakeholders and business analysts to gather and analyze requirements.
Design, configure, and implement Duck Creek Policy solutions using Author (Rating, Forms, Pages, Transact, Integration, Rules).
Work on both Express version 2 and version 3 (preference for experience in both).
Utilize Duck Creek Native and Anywhere APIs effectively.
Perform unit testing, system integration testing, and support QA activities.
Debug using DC Util, Trace, and other available tools.
Develop and maintain technical documentation including configuration designs and user guides.
Provide post-deployment support and handle production issues.
Stay updated with the latest Duck Creek technologies, best practices, and industry trends.
Lead development efforts and mentor junior team members, if required.
Required Skills:
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Duck Creek Policy configuration.
Strong experience with Duck Creek Author – Rating, Forms, Pages, Transact, Integration, Rules.
Proficient in Express v3 (v2 experience is a plus).
Basic knowledge of XSLT, SQL queries, and Duck Creek database structure.
Experience using Duck Creek Native and Anywhere APIs.
Familiarity with DC Util, Trace, and other debugging tools.
Good to Have:
Experience with JavaScript, DCOD, and Policy Active Delivery.
Exposure to production support and issue resolution.
Knowledge of DC Billing, Claims, and Insight modules.
Insurance certifications related to P&C lines.
Other Qualifications:
Certification in Duck Creek Policy and DCOD (Duck Creek Fundamentals) preferred.
Strong understanding of P&C insurance domain.
Proven leadership capabilities – able to work independently or lead a team.
Experience working in onsite-offshore delivery models.
Quick learner with strong problem-solving skills.
Demonstrates ownership and accountability.
