Job Description
- Strong understanding and handson experience with migrating workloads to Azure in both IaaS and PaaS environments using Azure Migrate or other tools
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code IaC and scriptingautomation tools such as AZ CLIPowerShell Bash Bicep JSON templates Ansible Terraform
- Knowledge or experience with CICD tools preferably Jenkins Git and ACR
- Work with Engineering teams to standardize on the Monitoring logging framework Build automation in the Science logic platform to integrate with azure monitor
- Work on the cloud transformation projects across cloud engineering to provide automation and selfservice
- Drive adoption of the Kubernetes platform onprem as well as Azure AKS
- Implement automation and selfservice capabilities using CICD pipelines for Infrastructure
- Build Operational capabilities around the Kubernetes and Cloud platform for handing over to Operations after release
- Document and Design controls and governance policies around container platform and automate deployments of the policies
- Manage the end user collaboration using village site and conduct regular sessions to educate end users on services and automation capabilities
- Find opportunities of siloed manual tasks and build automation to remove manual work
- Attend escalations from support teams and and provide assistance during major production issues from an engineering perspective
- Ability to understand and enhance existing deployment scripts DevOps
- Knowledge of security technologies like Always Encrypted DevOps
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Nodejs Java Python C SQL Application
- Linux OS proficiency Windows OS optional Application
- Bachelors degree in computer science Computer Engineering Information Technology or relevant field
- Minimum of 8year experience in IT automation with 2 years supporting Azure based cloud automation and 2 years of Kubernetes and Docker
- Certified in ITIL foundation with practical experience
- Certified on Microsoft Azure cloud is essential knowledge of cloud resource deployment principles or usage of specific cloud technologies
