Deployment Engineer - MPLS (RARR Job 5843)

We are looking for an MPLS Monitoring & Service Assurance Engineer with strong hands-on experience in monitoring, performance analysis, and SLA assurance of MPLS networks. The role focuses on ensuring end-to-end visibility, SLA compliance, and high availability across MPLS VPN and backbone networks.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MPLS path monitoring to ensure correct traffic routing and service availability.

• Monitor and validate Label Switched Paths (LSPs) for MPLS services.

• Track and analyze MPLS latency, jitter, and packet loss to ensure service quality.

• Implement and manage SLA monitoring using IP SLA and/or TWAMP.

• Monitor PE–CE and P–P devices for health, performance, and availability.

• Analyze backbone link utilization and support capacity planning.

• Monitor MPLS VPN services to ensure isolation, availability, and performance.

• Provide end-to-end service visibility across MPLS networks.

• Manage and support configuration of IP MPLS devices.

Skills – Essential

• Strong understanding of MPLS architecture and MPLS VPNs (L2/L3)

• Hands-on experience with LSP and MPLS path monitoring

• Proven experience in SLA monitoring (Latency, Jitter, Packet Loss)

• Experience with IP SLA and/or TWAMP

• Knowledge of PE–CE and backbone (P–P) network monitoring

• Ability to analyze link utilization and performance metrics

• Experience managing IP MPLS device configurations

Experience

• Minimum 1+ year of hands-on experience in MPLS monitoring, SLA management, 

• Strong understanding of MPLS architecture and MPLS VPNs (L2/L3)

• Experience with IP SLA and/or TWAMP
