Data Stage Engineer (RARR Job 5312)

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced DataStage Engineer to join our data integration and ETL development team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in IBM DataStage, along with strong proficiency in Control-M, Shell Scripting, SQL, and PL/SQL.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows using IBM DataStage.

• Create and schedule ETL jobs using Control-M or other scheduling tools.

• Write and maintain Shell scripts to support data processing and automation tasks.

• Develop complex SQL and PL/SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading.

• Optimize performance and troubleshoot issues in ETL workflows.

• Collaborate with business analysts, DBAs, and application teams to ensure data quality and availability.

• Participate in code reviews and maintain documentation for all developed solutions.

Required Skills:

• Strong SQL and PL/SQL skills

• Experience with relational databases such as Oracle, DB2, or SQL Server.
