Job Description
we are looking for a skilled and forward-thinking GitHub Copilot Coding Agents Engineer to lead the implementation and scaling of AI-powered coding agents that accelerate software delivery. This role focuses on embedding GitHub Copilot Coding Agents into end-to-end SDLC workflows, automating development tasks, and ensuring seamless integration with enterprise-grade development environments.
The ideal candidate will work closely with engineering, DevOps, and context engineering teams to optimize agent performance, improve code quality, and enhance developer productivity across both frontend and backend systems.
Key Responsibilities

Deploy, configure, and scale GitHub Copilot Coding Agents across multiple development teams and projects.

Design and implement agent workflows and automation scripts for code generation, testing, refactoring, and documentation.

Embed Copilot agents into SDLC workflows, including build, test, review, and release pipelines.

Collaborate with Context Engineers to ensure agents are context-aware and aligned with application architecture, coding standards, and domain knowledge.

Evaluate agent performance using quality, velocity, and developer experience metrics; continuously refine configurations and prompts.

Integrate Copilot agents with IDEs, GitHub repositories, CI/CD pipelines, and project management tools.

Provide technical guidance, best practices, and hands-on support to developers adopting Copilot agents.

Drive adoption of AI-assisted development practices across frontend and backend engineering teams.
Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of experience in software development or DevOps engineering.

Hands-on experience with GitHub Copilot, GitHub Actions, and agent-based automation.

Strong programming skills in one or more of the following: Python, Go, or JavaScript.

Proven experience with SDLC tools such as JIRA, Jenkins, GitHub, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.

Familiarity with AI/ML fundamentals and LLM-based development workflows.

Experience building and deploying full-stack applications using Java and Angular.

Ability to automate code generation, testing, and validation across both frontend and backend layers using Copilot agents.

Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with agent orchestration frameworks such as CrewAI, AutoGen, or LangChain Agents.

Knowledge of software observability, monitoring, and telemetry tools.

Background in enterprise software delivery, platform engineering, or developer productivity platforms.
