Job Skills

Minimum 3 years of relevant, in-depth experience with Catchpoint Synthetic Monitoring.
This includes expertise in test creation (browser, API, transaction), alert configuration, dashboarding, and report generation.
Strong understanding of web performance metrics and how synthetic monitoring impacts them.
Proficiency in scripting languages like Selenium and Playwright, for developing advanced synthetic tests and integrating Catchpoint with other tools.
Knowledge of network protocols and web technologies (DNS, SSL/TLS, CDNs, APIs, etc.)
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills with a keen eye for detail.
Experience in analyzing performance issues across all the tiers (client, network, database).
Familiarity with Real User Monitoring (RUM) concepts and how it complements synthetic monitoring.
Experience integrating Catchpoint with other APM (Application Performance Monitoring) tools like Dynatrace, New Relic, Datadog, or Splunk.
