AWS Cloud Security Engineer (RARR Job 5880)

• Engage with multiple cloud and networking stakeholders to understand requirements for complex enterprise cloud environments.

• Provide cloud and network security expertise and guidance across cloud programs, including Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Cloud Application Architecture sub-programs.

• Collaborate with enterprise architects and subject matter experts (SMEs) to design and deliver end-to-end security architecture solutions.

• Lead cloud network security initiatives by defining designs and patterns, and by developing and delivering scalable and secure Terraform modules.

• Identify and implement opportunities to automate network security configurations and deployments.

• Monitor, maintain, and optimize security patterns and Terraform modules for performance and compliance.

Minimum Qualifications

• 7+ years of overall experience in data center, cloud, and networking technologies.

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with AWS and GCP cloud platforms.

• 3+ years of experience working with containers, Kubernetes, and microservices architectures.

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Terraform.

• 3+ years of experience in advanced networking within public cloud environments.

• Strong understanding of traditional and cloud-native design patterns.

• Knowledge of security configuration management, container security, endpoint security, and secrets management as applied to cloud applications.

• Solid understanding of network architecture, proxy infrastructure, and network access enablement programs.

• Experience across multiple information security domains, including Infrastructure Vulnerability Management, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), End-User Security, Network Security, Internet Security, and Identity & Access Management (IAM).
