Authorization Tester-Visa Card/Master Card (RARR Job 5604)

Position: Scheme Tester

We are seeking a highly skilled Scheme Tester with authorization testing experience to join our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in Visa and MasterCard scheme testing, strong analytical skills, and a thorough understanding of authorization processes along with mandatory expertise in ISO8583 standards.

Responsibilities

1. Perform detailed testing of Visa and MasterCard schemes ensuring compliance with their specific requirements and protocols.

2. Conduct authorization testing to ensure the integrity and compliance of transaction processes.

3. Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and testing scripts for Visa and MasterCard schemes and authorization processes.

4. Utilize expertise in ISO8583 standards to test and validate transaction messaging formats.

5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand system requirements and design effective testing strategies.

6. Identify, document, and track defects and inconsistencies in authorization processes.

7. Provide detailed reports and analysis of test results to Project Managers and other stakeholders.

8. Ensure all testing activities comply with regulations and standards set by Visa, MasterCard, and other payment schemes.

9. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing accuracy and efficiency.

10. Keep up to date with changes and updates in payment schemes and advanced authorization testing techniques.

Requirements

1. Proven hands-on experience in Visa and MasterCard scheme testing.

2. Strong knowledge of various payment schemes and their specific requirements.

3. Expertise in ISO8583 standards is a must.

4. Familiarity with EMV standards and related authorization protocols.

5. Experience with testing tools such as Quality Center, Jira, SoapUI, and others.
