Job Description:Location: Bengaluru (Fully Remote)Notice Period: ImmediateExperience: 4–6 yearsEmployment Type: Contractual role for 6 months. This will be extended based on the performance & the project requirement.Budget: 13 LPA
About the Role:We are seeking a skilled and motivated Java Backend Developer (SDE-2) to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in building scalable backend systems, designing APIs, and working with distributed architectures. You will play a key role in driving product development, mentoring junior developers, and ensuring the robustness and performance of our applications.
Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
• Work on distributed, microservices-based architectures to build high-performing applications.
• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code following best practices.
• Debug, optimize, and troubleshoot complex production issues.
• Mentor junior developers and share knowledge within the team.
Requirements:
• 4–6 years of experience in backend development with Java (8/11/17+).
• Solid grasp of Data Structures, Algorithms, and system design. – Problem Solving skills
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, JPA/Hibernate.
• Proven experience in Microservices design and REST API development.
• Strong understanding of OOP, Collections, Streams, and Multithreading.
• Knowledge of relational databases (MySQL/SQL)
• Familiarity with message queues (Kafka) and caching strategies.
• Good experience of CI/CD, version control (Git), and cloud platforms (AWS).
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Solid grasp of data structures, algorithms, and system design.
Good to Have:
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of test automation frameworks (JUnit, Mockito).
• Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
