About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer with strong expertise in building scalable data pipelines, data warehousing, and cloud-based analytics solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with SQL, Python, Apache Spark, ETL/ELT processes, dbt, Snowflake, and CDC (Change Data Capture) technologies.

Key Responsibilities
· Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines.

· Build and optimize data models in Snowflake for analytics and reporting.

· Develop data transformation workflows using dbt.

· Implement and manage Change Data Capture (CDC) processes for real-time and near real-time data integration.

· Work with large datasets using Python and Apache Spark.

· Optimize SQL queries and improve database performance.

· Collaborate with Data Analysts, BI Developers, and Business Stakeholders to understand data requirements.

· Ensure data quality, governance, and security standards are maintained.

· Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance existing data pipelines.

· Participate in code reviews and follow best practices for data engineering.

Required Skills
· 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering.

· Strong proficiency in SQL and Python.

· Hands-on experience with Apache Spark.

· Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines.

· Strong experience with dbt (Data Build Tool).

· Expertise in Snowflake Data Warehouse.

· Experience implementing CDC (Change Data Capture) solutions.

· Knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, and performance tuning.

· Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

· Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, and Agile methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications
· Experience with Airflow, Kafka, Fivetran, or similar data integration tools.

· Exposure to real-time streaming architectures.

· Snowflake, AWS, Azure, or Databricks certifications are a plus.

· Experience working with distributed data processing frameworks.
