Solution Design: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design cloud-based solutions that meet telco-specific requirements. This includes selecting appropriate cloud services, defining architecture patterns, and ensuring high availability and security.
Cloud Infrastructure:
Set up and manage telco-specific infrastructure on cloud platforms (such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud). This involves creating virtual networks, configuring load balancers, and optimizing resource utilization.
Network Integration:
Integrate telco network components (such as 5G, LTE, SD-WAN) with cloud services. Ensure seamless communication between on-premises and cloud environments.
Security and Compliance:
Implement security best practices, encryption, and access controls. Address telco-specific compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, data privacy).
Scalability and Performance:
Design architectures that can handle high traffic loads, dynamic scaling, and fault tolerance. Optimize performance for telco workloads.
Automation and Orchestration:
Leverage infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) to automate deployment and management processes. Orchestrate telco services using tools like Kubernetes.
Monitoring and Troubleshooting:
Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting for telco applications. Diagnose and resolve issues related to cloud resources and telco services.
Collaboration:
Work closely with telco engineers, developers, and stakeholders to align cloud solutions with business goals.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
Certifications: Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Professional Cloud Architect).
Experience:
10+ years of experience in telco architecture, cloud computing, and network design.
