Sr Data Engineer-VC (NCS/Job/ 1452)

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using modern frameworks and tools
  Build data models and transform raw data into clean, usable formats for analytics and machine learning
• Collaborate with analysts, data scientists, and product teams to gather requirements and deliver data solutions
  Ensure data quality through testing, validation, and monitoring
• Optimize data workflows for cost, performance, and reliability
• Document data flows, definitions, and technical decisions clearly and consistently
• Contribute to the evolution of data engineering best practices and internal tooling

 Qualifications:

• 4–6 years of hands-on experience in data engineering or related fields
• Proficient in Python or Scala and advanced SQL
• Experience with orchestration tools such as Airflow, DBT, or similar
• Familiar with modern cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift, BigQuery)
• Solid understanding of ETL/ELT practices, data modeling, and performance tuning
• Exposure to data governance, cataloging, and security concepts
• Experience working with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
