Job Title: Sigma Developer for Support 

Designation: Senior Data Engineer

Experience : 6-8 Years

Location: Mph- Bangalore, Chennai

Job Summary:

 A Junior Developer or Support role for the Sigma Computing platform typically bridges the gap between software development and technical data support. 

Role Overview

This position focuses on supporting users and developers who build on the Sigma Computing platform. You will troubleshoot technical issues, optimize SQL queries, and assist in deploying embedded analytics and AI applications. 

Core Responsibilities

• Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to the Sigma platform, working directly with customers and development teams.
• Query Optimization: Assist users in writing and troubleshooting high-performance SQL for cloud data warehouses like Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift.
• Deployment Support: Help developers implement embedded analytics using JWT tokens, REST APIs, and JavaScript events to integrate Sigma into their own applications.
• Platform Maintenance: Participate in on-call duties and quarterly projects to improve support automation and internal diagnostic tools.
• Collaboration: Work across backend, frontend, and DevOps teams to provide a seamless user experience and document common resolution patterns. 

Required Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (recent graduates are often eligible for the New Grad Program).
• SQL Proficiency: Strong grasp of JOINs, window functions, CTEs, and query performance tuning.
• Programming: Intermediate skills in at least one modern language such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Data Modeling: Understanding of relational and dimensional data models for cloud-native analytics
