Role Overview

The L3 DataDog Administrator is responsible for managing, optimizing, and troubleshooting the DataDog monitoring platform at an enterprise level. This role involves advanced configuration, integration with security and infrastructure tools, performance tuning, and automation to ensure robust observability and security monitoring across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Platform Administration & Optimization

• Manage and maintain the DataDog platform, including dashboards, monitors, alerts, and integrations.
• Optimize DataDog configurations for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Implement tagging strategies and ensure proper data ingestion from multiple sources.

Integration & Automation

• Integrate DataDog with enterprise tools such as:
  • ServiceNow
  • Azure AD & On-Premise AD
  • Defender for Azure AD
  • CrowdStrike
  • SecurOnix
  • Palo Alto
  • Okta & Identity Management
  • MarkMonitor
  • Cloudflare
  • AWS Route53
  • Entra ID
  • Microsoft Purview
• Develop automation scripts for alerting, reporting, and remediation workflows.

Monitoring & Troubleshooting

• Configure advanced monitors for infrastructure, applications, and security events.
