Security and Risk Officer (NCS/Job/ 3947)

• Risk Assessments: Identify, evaluate, and prioritize potential security risks and vulnerabilities across IT systems, supply chains, and physical locations
• Policy Development: Formulate, implement, and maintain security protocols, risk management frameworks, and emergency response plans.
• Incident Management: Lead the response to security breaches, emergencies, or criminal activities. Coordinate investigations and implement corrective measures.
• Compliance & Auditing: Ensure the organization adheres to data protection laws, industry standards, and internal corporate guidelines.
• Vendor & Asset Management: Oversee security vendors, manage access control systems, and ensure the protection of proprietary information
• Security Awareness: Conduct training programs and awareness campaigns for staff to minimize internal risks and promote a secure organizational culture.

Key Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: 9+ years in corporate security, information security, law enforcement, or risk management.
• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks (like ISO 27001 or NIST), access control, CCTV, and incident response.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze threat data, distinguish between risks, and translate technical jargon for executive leadership.
• Crisis Management: Strong situational awareness and the ability to make rapid, sound decisions in high-pressure situations.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills for compiling incident reports and presenting risk metrics to stakeholders.
