SDM Deployment Expert  (NCS/Job/ 1969)

Job Description

• Deploy and integrate Nokia SDM components (SDL, UDM, AUSF) and 5G Core nodes (AMF, SMF, UPF) in containerized environments (Kubernetes, Docker) over public or private cloud platforms.

• Develop and execute Method of Procedures (MOPs) for service stitching and integration of Nokia core elements with other network functions (e.g., SCP, HSS).

• Conduct functional and interoperability testing of deployed network functions to ensure compliance with 3GPP standards and Nokia architecture guidelines.

• Troubleshoot deployment and integration issues using Nokia diagnostic tools and service logs.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and customer stakeholders to ensure successful onboarding and configuration of network functions.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, or related field.

• 5+ years of experience in deploying and integrating Nokia SDM and 5G Core components.

• Strong understanding of Nokia SDM architecture including SDL, UDM, AUSF, and UDR1.

• Hands-on experience with Nokia 5G Core nodes (AMF, SMF, UPF) and service-based interfaces (SBI).

• Familiarity with cloud-native environments (Kubernetes, Docker) and public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

• Solid grasp of 3GPP standards and protocols (Diameter, HTTP/2, GTP, etc.).

• Excellent troubleshooting and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Nokia certifications in SDM or 5G Core technologies.

• Experience with multi-vendor integration and service stitching.
