SDET Testing (NCS/Job/ 2927)

We are looking for a Senior SDET with 6–7 years of hands-on experience in Java-based test automation to design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks. The ideal candidate should be strong in automation, testing fundamentals, CI/CD integration, and quality engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Java

• Create and execute automated test scripts for Web, API, and backend systems

• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and DevOps teams

• Participate in requirement analysis, test planning, and test design

• Perform functional, regression, smoke, and integration testing

• Automate REST APIs using tools like Rest Assured

• Integrate automation with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins / GitHub Actions / GitLab)

• Analyze test results and report defects using JIRA or similar tools

• Ensure test coverage, reliability, and maintainability

• Mentor junior SDETs and review automation code

• Contribute to shift-left testing and quality improvement initiatives

Required Skills

Automation & Programming

• Strong proficiency in Java

• Experience with Selenium WebDriver

• Experience with TestNG / JUnit

• Hands-on with Maven / Gradle

• Solid understanding of OOP concepts

API & Backend Testing

• REST API automation using Rest Assured

• Understanding of HTTP methods, status codes, JSON/XML

• Experience testing microservices

CI/CD & DevOps

• Experience integrating tests with Jenkins

• Familiarity with Git / Bitbucket

• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines

Testing Knowledge

• Strong understanding of STLC

• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments

• Manual testing expertise (functional, regression, UAT)
