SAP BW security (NCS/Job/ 2317)

Key Responsibilities:

SAP BW Security:

• Maintain and administer the SAP BW security framework, including roles, authorizations, and user profiles.
• Analyze security requirements for new projects and enhancements, proposing secure and efficient solutions in alignment with our security guidelines.
• Design and implement BW security concepts, ensuring appropriate access controls based on user roles and responsibilities.
• Create and manage BW working folders and user groups according to organizational policies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve user access issues and security-related incidents.
• Collaborate with project teams and business stakeholders to understand security implications of new developments.
• Document the BW security framework, processes, and guidelines.
• Perform regular security reviews and audits to identify potential vulnerabilities and ensure compliance.
• Stay up-to-date with SAP security best practices and recommend security enhancements.
• Participate in security-related projects and initiatives.
• Provide guidance and training to users on BW security policies and procedures.
• Mentoring junior engineers

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline.
• 6+ years of experience in SAP BW
• Deep understanding of security, access controls, and backup/recovery practices.
• Experience with SAP security modules (e.g., SAP GRC), Implementation of GRC Access Controls
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on security best practices.
• Knowledge of relevant data privacy regulations and compliance standards.
• SAP certifications (e.g., SAP Security administration, SAP GRC Access Control).
