Brief Profile Summary

The Technical Architect will serve as the strategic anchor for Salesforce implementations, responsible for designing high-quality, scalable, secure, and integrated solutions that align with business objectives. The ideal candidate should have deep expertise in Salesforce platform architecture, multi-cloud solutions, enterprise integration patterns, data architecture, security design, and DevOps practices. This role requires strong leadership skills to guide development teams, communicate with stakeholders at all levels, and ensure solutions are built for long-term success.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end solution architecture for complex Salesforce implementations across multiple clouds aligned with Salesforce Well-Architected Framework
• Conduct architecture assessments and provide technology roadmaps for Salesforce implementations
• Define architectural standards, design patterns, and best practices for Salesforce development
• Design multi-org and multi-cloud strategies spanning Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Industry Clouds
• Design enterprise data models optimized for Salesforce platform limits and performance
• Architect data migration strategies for large-scale implementations and data governance frameworks
• Implement Large Data Volume (LDV) solutions with appropriate indexing, archiving, and skinny tables
• Design data sharing and visibility models using OWD, Sharing Rules, Role Hierarchy, and Territory Management
• Design enterprise integration architecture connecting Salesforce with ERP, legacy systems, and third-party applications
• Architect integration patterns: Request-Reply, Fire-and-Forget, Batch, Pub/Sub, and Event-Driven
• Design API strategies using REST, SOAP, Bulk API, Streaming API, and Platform Events
• Architect MuleSoft/middleware integration solutions for complex enterprise landscapes
• Design comprehensive security architecture including authentication, authorization, and data protection
• Architect Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions using SSO, MFA, and Connected Apps, External Client Apps
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using Salesforce DX, Git, and DevOps tools
• Establish release management strategies and deployment best practices
• Design environment strategy (sandbox types, refresh schedules, source control branching)
• Implement automated testing strategies including unit tests, integration tests, and UAT
• Establish monitoring, logging, and alerting strategies for production systems
• Serve as trusted technical advisor to business stakeholders and executive leadership
• Translate complex business requirements into technical solutions with clear trade-off analysis
• Lead and mentor development teams on Salesforce best practices and architectural standards
• Strong hands-on experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and declarative tools
• Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and SAFe delivery methodologies
• Salesforce Application Architect and System Architect Certification

Preferred/Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with Salesforce Data Cloud and customer data platform architecture
• Knowledge of Tableau/CRM Analytics architecture and implementation
• Experience with OmniStudio (Vlocity) for industry solutions
• Understanding of Heroku architecture and Salesforce-Heroku integration patterns
• Experience with Slack integration and collaboration platform architecture
• Knowledge of AI/ML integration patterns and Einstein platform capabilities
• Experience with B2B and B2C commerce architecture
• Understanding of mobile architecture (Salesforce Mobile, Mobile SDK)
• Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance requirements
