Job Description: Salesforce SME (Fulfilment Module) Role: Salesforce Subject Matter Expert (SME) – Fulfilment Location: PAN India Experience: 5+ years in Salesforce, with 3+ years in fulfilment / Order Management domain Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce SME with strong expertise in fulfilment processes to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of order-to-cash and fulfilment workflows. The ideal candidate will act as a domain and technical expert, driving scalable solutions across Salesforce platforms and ensuring seamless integration with downstream systems. Key Responsibilities 1. Solution Design & Architecture • Lead end-to-end design of Salesforce fulfilment / Order Management solutions • Define architecture for order capture, orchestration, fulfilment, shipping, and billing flows • Design scalable data models and workflow automation aligned with Salesforce best practices 2. Fulfilment Process Expertise • Work closely with business stakeholders to define: o Order lifecycle management o Inventory checks and allocation o Shipment orchestration • Implement business logic using Flows, Process Builder, Apex, and integrations 3. Configuration & Development • Customize Salesforce objects, workflows, and reports to support fulfilment processes • Develop and optimize: o Apex classes and triggers o Lightning components o Order orchestration logic • Ensure performance and scalability of fulfilment workflows 4. Integrations • Integrate Salesforce with: o ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) o Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) o Payment gateways and logistics partners • Use REST/SOAP APIs and middleware (MuleSoft preferred) 5. Governance & Best Practices • Ensure adherence to Salesforce development lifecycle, CI/CD, and security standards • Drive code quality, performance tuning, and release management Required Skills & Qualifications Technical Skills Internal - General Use • Strong expertise in: o Salesforce Sales Cloud / Service Cloud o Salesforce Order Management / Fulfilment (must-have) • Hands-on experience with: o Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components o Salesforce Flow & Process Automation o Data modelling and schema design • Integration expertise (REST, SOAP, middleware) Functional Skills • Deep understanding of: o Order-to-Cash lifecycle o Fulfilment lifecycle (order capture → shipping → invoicing) • Experience in retail, e-commerce, telecom, or supply chain domains is preferred Soft Skills • Strong stakeholder communication • Problem-solving and analytical thinking • Ability to drive solutions independently Preferred Qualifications • Salesforce certifications: o Salesforce Architect / Application Architect o Salesforce Administrator / Platform Developer • Experience with: o Salesforce CPQ / Commerce Cloud (optional) o Agile / Scrum delivery model Nice to Have • Experience with large-scale enterprise implementations • Exposure to multi-cloud Salesforce deployments • Knowledge of DevOps pipelines (Copado, Jenkins) KPIs / Success Metrics • Successful delivery of fulfilment workflows • Reduction in order processing time • Improved system performance and scalability • Business stakeholder satisfaction Typical Use Case (Context for Role) • Designing end-to-end digital fulfilment platform • Handling high-volume order processing with integrations across ERP & logistics • Driving automation across order lifecycle to minimize manual intervention Internal - General Use
