Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) B2B Developer (with LWC Experience)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) B2B Developer proficient in Lightning Web Components (LWC) to join our Salesforce development team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience designing, developing, and implementing B2B eCommerce solutions using Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC), Salesforce B2B Commerce (formerly CloudCraze), and the Salesforce platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement B2B eCommerce solutions using Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) and Salesforce B2B Commerce.
• Develop custom front-end components using Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Aura Components.
• Integrate SFCC with Salesforce CRM, Service Cloud, and third-party systems via REST/SOAP APIs or middleware tools.
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) — requirements analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Implement custom business logic, pricing, catalog management, checkout flows, and order management within B2B Commerce.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architects, business analysts, QA, and DevOps.
• Ensure adherence to Salesforce best practices, security guidelines, and code quality standards.
• Provide technical documentation, conduct code reviews, and support deployments.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5–12 years of experience in Salesforce development.
• Strong hands-on experience in Salesforce B2B Commerce (CloudCraze) or Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC).
• Expertise in Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Apex programming.
• Experience with Salesforce Platform, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud (Communities).
• Strong understanding of Salesforce data model, security model, and integration patterns.
• Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, Web Services, JSON, and JavaScript frameworks.

Senior / Lead Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC – B2C) Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior / Lead Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC – B2C) Developer with deep hands-on experience in Demandware architecture, full-stack development (front-end and back-end), and SFRA (Storefront Reference Architecture). The ideal candidate will lead the design, development, and implementation of large-scale eCommerce solutions, driving technical excellence and mentoring development teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end Salesforce Commerce Cloud (B2C) development — covering both front-end UI/UX and back-end business logic, integrations, and performance optimization.
• Design and develop custom storefronts leveraging SFRA, ISML, controllers, cartridges, and pipelines.
• Develop and enhance server-side scripts, jobs, APIs, and integrations with third-party systems (ERP, OMS, Payment Gateways, Marketing Tools, etc.).
• Implement scalable and maintainable solutions following Salesforce best practices and coding standards.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, and business teams to translate requirements into robust technical designs.
• Conduct code reviews, ensure code quality, and enforce CI/CD standards using tools like Git, Jenkins, or Bitbucket.
• Drive performance tuning, site optimization, and responsive design for high-traffic global eCommerce sites.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues, ensuring high availability and reliability.
• Mentor junior developers, contribute to technical roadmaps, and lead proof-of-concept (PoC) initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 7–15 years of total IT experience, with at least 5+ years of hands-on SFCC (Demandware) development.
• Expertise in Salesforce Commerce Cloud (B2C) including SFRA, Controllers, Cartridges, Pipelines, and Jobs.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (client & server-side), ISML, HTML5, CSS3, JSON, and jQuery.
• Experience integrating SFCC with third-party APIs using REST/SOAP, OCAPI, and SCAPI.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, caching, SEO optimization, and web performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience with source control (Git), deployment tools, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proven experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Salesforce B2C Commerce Developer Certification or equivalent credentials.
• Exposure to headless commerce architectures, PWA (Progressive Web Apps), or React-based front ends.
• Experience integrating Salesforce Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, or Order Management System (OMS) with SFCC.
• Prior experience in technical leadership, solution design, and team management.
• Familiarity with Cloud environments (AWS, Azure) and DevOps automation practices.
