Job Description
Duties & Responsibilities
1 Conducting tool box talk on work related issues.
2 Inspecting power tools, fire extinguishers & scaffolding for safe working.
3 Conducting site safety inductions for new employees, visitors and sub-contractors.
4 Identify hazards and reporting site related issues to site manager.
5 Conducting fire drills.
6 Organizing safety awareness training program for labours.
7 Arranging and placing safety signage on site.
8 Ensure workplace safe for workers by providing required PPE's and also to achieve zero accident goals.
9 Making site visit with site manager, construction teams and consultants for sile inspections.
10 Promote safety awareness and safe working practices among team members.
11 Advising safety standards/ procedures & preparation of safety reports.
12 Development and implementation of site HSE plan.
13 Creating fire points, placement of appropriate fire extinguishers on designated locations.
14 Check that all machinery including power and hand tools are maintained and in good condition and inform the finding to concern in charge for necessary action.
15 Advising about storage of hazardous materials or substances and precautions to be taken.
16 Investigate all near misses, accident/ incident and record them with recommendations.
17 Enforcing to prepare checklist system for each of the equipment at site for sound/ adequate operation and rapid identification of hazardous condition of the equipment.
18 Ensure that all company personnel and sub contract employees adhere to the company and company's safety policy.
19 Conduct site safety meetings for employees before commencing work site
20 Review procedures and work instructions to ensure that health and safety requirements are accomplished.
21 Reporting monthly, weekly HSE statistics to management & stake holders.
22 Preparing the weekly reports and daily inspection reports and submitting the reports after coordinating the reports.
