Device Qualification Engineers Responsibilities

1. Register and qualify devices within Cisco Secure Access environment
2. Enforce security policies on qualified devices
3. Manage certificates and API token to ensure secure device communication
4. Support device onboarding and ensure compliance security standard.
5. Troubleshoot device qualification and connectivity issues
6. Traffic accusation mechanism

Technical Skill Requirement

• Knowledge of Cisco Secure Access architecture
• Understanding Networking, DNS, IP addressing and firewall basics
• Certificate Management and security protocol
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Network traffic analysis
• Security & Network Validation  
•        - Firewall policies
•        - IPS / IDS behavior
•        - VPN (IPsec, SSL) functionality
•        - Traffic inspection and enforcement
• Perform packet‑level validation using tools such as Wireshark and traffic generators
• Analyze security logs, system logs, and telemetry for correctness and anomalies
• Awareness of endpoint security and compliance requirements
