Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Python Developer to join our team and contribute to the development and enhancement of dashboards and automation solutions for Cisco’s Digital Network Architecture Center (DNAC). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Python programming, REST APIs, and data visualization, with a strong understanding of networking concepts and Cisco technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Python-based applications and dashboards for Cisco DNAC.
• Integrate with Cisco DNAC APIs to extract, process, and visualize network data.
• Build intuitive and responsive dashboards using frameworks like Flask, Django, or Dash.
• Collaborate with network engineers and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
• Optimize code for performance and reliability in large-scale network environments.
• Implement logging, error handling, and security best practices in all development work.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.

Required Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Python (3.x) with experience in building production-grade applications.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, especially Cisco DNAC APIs.
• Familiarity with dashboard development using tools like Dash, Plotly, Flask, Django, or similar.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts (routing, switching, SNMP, etc.).
• Experience with JSON, XML, and data parsing.
• Knowledge of Git and version control workflows.
• Good problem-solving and debugging skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience working with Cisco DNAC or other Cisco network management platforms.
• Exposure to automation frameworks and network orchestration tools.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment tools.
