API Testing(NCS/Job/ 1008)

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute API test cases (manual and automated)

• Use tools like Postman, SoapUI, Swagger, Rest Assured, or JMeter for API validation

• Validate request/response formats, status codes, headers, and authentication

• Perform functional, regression, and performance testing on APIs

• Write and maintain automation scripts using frameworks like Rest Assured or Karate

• Collaborate with developers, BAs, and other QA team members during the SDLC

• Report and track bugs using JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar tools

• Integrate API tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., using Jenkins/GitHub Actions)
