- Responsibility for project planning and project/programme financial reporting
- UK Banking client experience
- Managing technology and business resources
- Multiple examples of regularly presenting status updates to senior stakeholders
- Working UK hours 09.00 – 17.00
PM Skills Required
1. Project Planning & Execution - Ability to create, manage, and execute detailed project plans across the full lifecycle, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
2. Risk, Issue & Dependency Management - Skill in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks and dependencies, including recommending risk mitigation strategies to senior management.
3. Stakeholder Management & Influence - Capacity to build strong relationships, influence decisions, and collaborate effectively with technical and business teams across all levels up to Director/Chief.
4. Communication & Reporting Excellence - Clear, concise, and impactful verbal and written communication, including producing high quality governance packs and presenting complex information clearly.
5. Leadership & Team Management - Experience leading multidisciplinary teams, motivating colleagues, and potentially line managing resources while promoting strong project management practices.
6. Delivery Methodology Expertise (Agile & Waterfall) - Knowledge and application of Agile and Waterfall methodologies, governance processes, and frameworks such as PRINCE2.
7. Technical Literacy & Collaboration - A technical background enabling effective collaboration with engineering, architecture, and product teams, and bridging the gap between business and technology.
8. Budget & Financial Management - Ability to manage project budgets, control costs, and maintain financial oversight throughout the project lifecycle.
9. Tooling Proficiency - Working knowledge of collaboration and delivery tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft Teams to support change activities.
