Production Support (NCS/Job/ 2483)

ob Description:
We are looking for a skilled Production Support Engineer to provide end-to-end support for business-critical applications. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in SQL, Unix Shell Scripting, PowerShell, and a basic understanding of Java and MQ (Message Queues).

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide L2/L3 production support for applications running in multi-platform environments.

• Monitor system performance, logs, and alerts; troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly.

• Perform incident, problem, and change management following ITIL standards.

• Write and maintain Unix Shell and PowerShell scripts for automation and operational efficiency.

• Execute SQL queries for issue analysis, data validation, and reporting.

• Support and manage MQ (Message Queue)-based integrations, monitoring queues, and message flows.

• Coordinate with development and infrastructure teams for root cause analysis and permanent fixes.

• Prepare and maintain runbooks, SOPs, and documentation for supported systems.

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience in SQL (Oracle, MySQL, or MS SQL Server).

• Proficiency in Unix/Linux environment and Shell scripting.

• Working knowledge of PowerShell scripting (Windows automation).

• Basic understanding of Core Java (ability to read and debug code preferred).

• Good knowledge of MQ (IBM MQ, ActiveMQ, or RabbitMQ).

• Experience with monitoring and ticketing tools (e.g., Splunk, Dynatrace, ServiceNow, Jira).

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Nice to Have:

• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.

• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).

• Experience in batch job monitoring and application deployment support.
