Job Description:
Key Responsibilities  
Business Analysis & Product Ownership Support 
•  Act as an extension of the Product Owner; contribute to product thinking and requirement shaping 
•  Develop a holistic understanding of what is being built, why it is needed, and how it will be used by end users 
•  Perform discovery and analysis based on business outcomes and planning use cases 
•  Identify business risks, gaps, and dependencies during requirement gathering 
Requirement Translation & Story Development 
•  Create Jira user stories and define clear acceptance criteria aligned with Definition of Done (DoD) 
•  Translate business requirements into technical requirements for data and engineering teams 
•  Work with designers to create structured requirements for visualization teams (Power BI / Tableau) 
•  Collaborate with data asset teams to define requirements for data ingestion and curation 
Planning Analytics & Data Logic 
•  Define and standardize key planning metrics such as: 
o  Replenishment Lead Time (planned vs actual) 
o  Service levels (OTIF / fill rate) 
o  Inventory components (cycle, safety, pipeline stock) 
•  Identify and define: 
o  Data sources and transformation rules 
o  Business logic and calculation layers 
o  Data quality requirements 
•  Supporting identification of variability drivers across demand and supply 
Agile Delivery & Sprint Execution 
•  Actively participate in sprint ceremonies (refinement, planning, reviews) 
•  Drive sprint refinement in collaboration with the Product Owner 
•  Ensure stories are well-defined and ready for development teams 
Testing, UAT & Deployment 
•  Develop Business Simulation Testing (BST) and UAT test cases 
•  Perform testing in scenarios where dedicated QA support is limited 
•  Conduct demos to business stakeholders during UAT 
•  Collaborate with business users and development teams for defect triaging 
•  Support post-deployment activities and business adoption 
Data Governance & Process Improvement 
•  Support all aspects of the Plan and Inventory data model, including governance and standardization 
•  Partner with Data Management and Data Quality teams to implement monitoring frameworks 
•  Analyze process and data flows to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities 
•  Contribute to global data harmonization initiatives 
Stakeholder Collaboration & Enablement 
•  Work closely with planners, inventory managers, and global stakeholders 
•  Educate business users on analytics tools and outputs 
•  Support onboarding of new team members and BAs 
What We Are Looking For  
Required Qualifications  
•  At least 6-8 years of business experience in supply chain, operations, planning analytics, or business analysis roles, master data or multi-functional business environment. 
•  Strong understanding of: 
o  Supply and inventory planning processes 
o  Lead time concepts (planned vs actual) 
o  Service level and inventory metrics 
•  Overall business understanding of Sales and shipments data, demand and supply planning processes and inventory management. 
•  Experience working in Agile environments with Product Owners and development teams 
•  Strong SQL and data analysis skills 
•  Experience with Power BI or similar tools 
•  Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills 
•  Ability to translate business needs into scalable analytical solutions 
•  Experience working across multiple business functions, especially with Demand/Supply Planners, Inventory managers and various Plan global process owners. 
•  Experience with SAP (especially S/4 Hana) and Planning systems like Anaplan, OMP, Kinaxis, SAP IBP 
•  Advanced skills with SQL*Plus  
•  Advanced Excel skills, and proficiency with PowerPoint  
•  Understanding data modelling- star schema, snowflake/databricks. 
•  Ability to courageously challenge the status quo, influence, and inspire changes to business processes and systems  
•  Strong communication and presentation skills  
•  Ability to communicate effectively in business and technical terms with equal effectiveness  
•  Curious mind with an ability to quickly learn new functions, technologies, and processes 
Desired Qualifications  
•  Degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Supply Chain, or related field 
•  Experience with SAP (S/4 Hana) or planning tools (Anaplan, Kinaxis, OMP, SAP IBP) 
•  Exposure to Azure, Databricks, or modern data platforms 
•  Familiarity with Agile methodologies and product delivery models 
•  Experience in inventory optimisation or advanced planning analytics
