Portfolio Accounting Support (NCS/Job/ 2820)

• Provide Client with operational support with business as usual (BAU) activities outlined below, based on Client direction and Client-provided procedures: 
• Post cash transactions to Nuveen’s portfolio accounting system, Eagle as defined by Nuveen 
• Monitor cash reports generated by the accounting system, Eagle and assess potential cash projection variances based on cash and position reconciliation breaks.  Update cash projections report with supporting documentation and send to Nuveen for review and approval. 
• Perform necessary analysis to assist Nuveen stakeholders who may have inquiries related to cash projections (e.g., position settlement) 
• Assess Client’s current process documentation and corresponding job aids related to portfolio and cash management against observed industry practices, and work with Nuveen to identify and incorporate updates as necessary 
• Conduct ad-hoc check points with Nuveen NGIO (Nuveen Global Investment Operations Support) senior leadership to assess if any adjustments to activities or Work Products are necessary based on fixed team capacity 

Provide direct support across business areas such as Front Office (FO) and Compliance related to cash projections and oversight. Escalate issues to respective management areas by researching and providing negative cash projections for the funds, perform overdraft oversight, as well as send and monitor large trade notices.
