Job Description
The JDE Functional Consultant is responsible for supporting, implementing, and maintaining JD Edwards (JDE) Financial and Distribution modules. The role involves working closely with business users to identify opportunities for process improvements, system enhancements, and training needs.
Key Responsibilities
Finance Module

Support and configure modules like General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), and Cost Accounting.

Analyze and resolve issues related to financial transactions and reporting.

Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.

Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
Distribution Module

Implement and support modules such as Sales Order Management, Procurement, Inventory Management, and Logistics.

Troubleshoot Distribution Logistics (DL) issues and collaborate with SMEs to resolve root causes.

Optimize supply chain processes and improve inventory accuracy.
General

Participate in system upgrades, new module implementations, and integration projects.

Conduct gap analysis and document business requirements.

Provide end-user training and create user manuals.

Collaborate with technical teams for development and testing.

Maintain documentation for configurations and support activities.
