. High Availability and Disaster Recovery:
RAC Configuration:
Managing and optimizing Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC) for high availability.
Data Guard:
Configuring and maintaining Oracle Data Guard for disaster recovery and replication.
Troubleshooting:
Addressing issues related to RAC and Data Guard, including node failures, network problems, and replication delays.
2. Backup and Recovery:
RMAN: Utilizing Recovery Manager (RMAN) for database backups, restores, and recovery.
Backup Strategies: Developing and implementing robust backup and recovery strategies, including frequency, retention policies, and testing procedures.
Recovery: Recovering databases from corruption, media failures, or other issues.
3. Performance Tuning and Optimization:
Performance Monitoring: Monitoring database performance using various tools like SQL Developer, AWR reports, and OEM.
SQL Tuning: Identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks in SQL statements.
Performance Optimization: Optimizing database configuration, storage, and network settings for improved performance.
4. Database Management and Administration:
Installation and Configuration: Installing, configuring, and upgrading Oracle databases.
Security: Implementing and enforcing security measures, including user access control, auditing, and encryption.
User Management: Managing database users, roles, and privileges.
Schema Management: Designing and maintaining database schemas.
5. Technical Expertise and Guidance:
