Ops Support Engineer (NCS/Job/ 2858)

• 3+ years of experience on Linux & Virtualization technologies.
• 2+ years of implementation/consulting experience with distributed applications ( NFV )
• 2+ years of experience of presenting to executives, IT Management, or developers
• Knowledge on NOKIA s NFVI elements , is must (Openstack / Kubernetes & Kubernetes)
• Expertise in HEAT/HOT, Ansible / Terraform, Mistral concepts is a plus
• Experience in telco cloud implementations / Operation on Open stack & Kubernetes is must
• Experience in designing and implementing NFV Clouds a plus

Required Skills:

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible managing network configuration and conducting system level troubleshooting
• Providing the day-to-day support to Openstack / Kubernetes Environment to the client.
• Checking all components log files in trouble shooting the issues.
• Checking health status of Openstack / Kubernetes and Chef Servers as part of health checks.
• Working on YAML templates, modified, and created based on Client Requirements as per Infrastructure.
• Deploying instances using YAML templates.
• Troubleshoot and managing support issues related to Keystone, User, Project creations, Flavors, Aggregate, volume, Image.
• Hands on and good Knowledge on Containers (Docker), Container orchestration platform (Kubernetes).
• Standalone and Multimode Openstack / Kubernetes deployments
• Implementing, creating, and testing different Openstack / Kubernetes network types FLAT, VLAN, VxLAN, GRE, GENEVE.
• Deploying and providing the NFVI IaaS platform to telecom application deployments using VNF Orchestration Platforms.
• Coordinating and providing support to telecom application 4G VoLTE, SBC, EPC etc. deployments.
• Monitoring and controlling the Openstack / Kubernetes components from the horizon dashboard.
• Performing instances related operations like Resize, Reboot, Suspend, Resume, Migrate etc.
•  Working experience in Telecom domain in support and implementation of Openstack / Kubernetes.
•  Coordinating/Supporting the telecom application deployment teams to deploy telecom applications on Openstack / Kubernetes platform such as NFV, VNF, and VoLTE.
• Launching the instances using YAML script by creating the heat stack in horizon dashboard.
• Configure the software repo in server to share the binaries to nodes.
