Job Title: NIMS SME (Network & Infrastructure Management Services)

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced NIMS SME to lead and support enterprise-level Network and Infrastructure Management Services. The role involves providing technical expertise, driving operational excellence, ensuring SLA compliance, and supporting transformation initiatives across infrastructure services.

 

Key Responsibilities

Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Network & Infrastructure services across domains (Compute, Network, Storage, Cloud).

Provide L3/L4 support for critical incidents, problem management, and escalations.

Ensure high availability, performance, and security of IT infrastructure.

Lead incident, problem, and change management in alignment with ITIL Framework best practices.

Drive root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams for solution design and implementation.

Support infrastructure transformation initiatives (cloud migration, automation, modernization).

Monitor and optimize infrastructure using tools like:

SolarWinds

Dynatrace

Nagios

Ensure compliance with security policies and governance standards.

Mentor L1/L2 teams and drive knowledge management.

Required Skills & Expertise

Core Infrastructure

Strong knowledge of:

Networking (Routing, Switching, Firewalls, VPNs)

Servers (Windows/Linux)

Storage (SAN/NAS)

Virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V)

Cloud & Modern Technologies

Hands-on experience with:

Microsoft Azure

Amazon Web Services

Understanding of hybrid cloud and migration strategies

Tools & Automation

Experience in scripting (PowerShell, Python)

Exposure to automation/orchestration tools (Ansible, Terraform)

ITSM & Processes

Strong experience in:

Incident / Problem / Change Management

SLA / KPI tracking

ITIL certification preferred
