Job Summary

We are looking for a highly technical MuleSoft (Mule ESB) Developer with strong hands-on experience in designing, developing, and deploying enterprise-grade integrations using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. The role requires deep expertise in Mule ESB, API-led architecture, and large-scale system integrations.


Technical Responsibilities

Mule ESB & Anypoint Development

  • Design and develop integrations using Mule ESB (Mule 4.x) on Anypoint Platform
  • Build and manage Mule applications using Anypoint Studio
  • Implement API-led Connectivity (System APIs, Process APIs, Experience APIs)
  • Develop complex Mule flows using:
    • DataWeave 2.0 (transformations, mappings, functions)
    • Flow constructs (choice, scatter-gather, batch, async, for-each)
    • VM, File, HTTP, Database connectors

API & Integration

  • Design, build, and expose RESTful and SOAP APIs using RAML
  • Consume and integrate third-party services (REST/SOAP, JSON, XML)
  • Integrate Mule ESB with enterprise systems such as:
    • Salesforce
    • Databases (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL)
    • SAP / legacy systems
    • Cloud & SaaS platforms
  • Implement reusable components, shared libraries, and common error frameworks

Security & Governance

  • Configure API security using:
    • OAuth 2.0
    • Client ID enforcement
    • JWT, TLS/SSL
  • Handle API policies, throttling, and access control via API Manager
  • Implement centralized exception handling, logging, and monitoring

Deployment & Operations

  • Deploy Mule ESB applications to:
    • CloudHub
    • On‑premise Mule Runtimes
    • Hybrid environments
  • Manage applications using Runtime Manager
  • Perform performance tuning and memory optimization
  • Handle environment-specific configuration using property files and secure key management

DevOps & Best Practices

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines for Mule deployments
    • Maven
    • Git
    • Jenkins / Azure DevOps
  • Perform unit testing using MUnit
  • Participate in code reviews and follow MuleSoft best practices
  • Prepare detailed technical design documents (TDD) and API documentation

Mandatory Technical Skills

  • 4–7 years of overall experience with strong Mule ESB / MuleSoft exposure
  • Extensive hands-on experience with:
    • Mule 4.x
    • Anypoint Platform
    • Anypoint Studio, API Manager, Runtime Manager
  • Strong expertise in DataWeave 2.0
  • Solid understanding of SOA, ESB, integration patterns
  • Experience with synchronous and asynchronous messaging
  • Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills

Good to Have

  • MuleSoft Certification:
    • MCD – Level 1 / Level 2
  • Experience with high-volume, high-availability integrations
  • Knowledge of containerized deployments or runtime fabric
  • Exposure to microservices architecture
