Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Windows Active Directory & Entra ID Administrator to support, manage, and troubleshoot enterprise identity infrastructure. The candidate will be responsible for day-to-day AD operations, complex troubleshooting, and ensuring availability, security, and compliance of directory services.

Key Responsibilities (L2 Scope)

  • Perform day-to-day administration of Windows Active Directory, including users, groups, computers, and OU management.
  • Provide Level‑2 support for Active Directory–related incidents and service requests.
  • Support Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) in a hybrid identity environment (basic operations and issue triage).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve user authentication issues, login failures, and basic access-related problems.
  • Investigate and fix Group Policy application issues and support GPO-related requests as per approved standards.
  • Perform L2-level troubleshooting of Active Directory replication issues and coordinate with L3 teams when required.
  • Support and troubleshoot DNS and DHCP issues related to Active Directory.
  • Assist in the management and support of internal DHCP servers.
  • Monitor and maintain the health of AD Domains, Trusts, DNS, and DHCP services.
  • Execute approved changes and operational tasks following defined SOPs and change management processes.
  • Update and maintain technical documentation and operating procedures.
  • Escalate complex or non-standard issues to L3/Engineering teams with proper analysis and logs.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong understanding of Active Directory core concepts.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
  • Good understanding of AD Forests, Domains, Trusts, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and Organizational Units.
  • Hands-on experience with L2 troubleshooting for:
    • Authentication and login issues
    • Group Policy processing
    • DNS, DHCP, and basic AD replication problems
  • Experience in performing routine AD administrative activities in an enterprise environment.
  • Familiarity with incident, change, and problem management processes.
