LINUX SERVER ADMIN (NCS/Job/ 3460)





Experience

•             Extensive knowledge of Redhat Linux 6 and 7 ( Must Have)

•             Knowledge of Infoscale Product set including VERITAS File System, Cluster Server and Clustered File Systems ( Must Have)

•             Working knowledge of EMC (or similar) enterprise storage systems and associated features: SRDF, BCV, Powerpath ( Must Have)

•             Ability to script

•             Experience of working in a dynamic environment often with shifting priorities

•             Well-developed communication and influencing skills

•             Working knowledge of Puppet manifests and modules  (desirable)

•             Previous experience in a banking or other financial institution (desirable)

General day to day Duties

•             Ownership of the deliveries for small/medium and large size projects ( Must Have)

•             Installing, upgrading, configuration and management of Redhat servers (physical and virtual) ( Must Have)

•             Production and contingency failover testing ( Must Have)

•             Configuring and failover testing using Veritas Cluster Server ( Must Have)

•             Adding, migrating and configuring SAN storage( Must Have)

•             Troubleshooting Linux related issues ( Must Have)

•             Change control awareness and industry best practices ( Must Have)
