LINUX ADMIN (NCS/Job/ 3449)

Primary skills: Azure+ Linux Admin+ app gateway, Firewall, NSG

Location: PAN India (preferred Hyderabad)



Responsibilities:

• Azure Platform Support and Administration with Linux and Oracle Database / Exadata experience / exposure.
• Responsible for the day-to-day management and maintenance of various Oracle Linux OS
• Responsible for the day-to-day management and maintenance of various Windows OS
• Exadata, OCI maintenance, and support
• Azure Cloud Services support, including VMs and Azure NetApp, Firewalls, and NSGs
• Support NFS
• Provide platform support via ticketing systems for break-fix issues.
• Perform operations relating to Disaster recovery / Patching / Backup / Business continuity.
• Build, configure, and secure server environments using standard configurations and automation tools, where possible, using tools such as Puppet config management.
• Adhere to global standards in IT processes (account management, permissions, naming conventions, security, etc.)
• Provide documentation on configuration standards, troubleshooting steps, and infrastructure design.
• Work in a team environment to develop best practices and improve existing infrastructure.

     Qualifications / Skills

• 5+ years exp. as a Systems Administrator with a demonstrated ability to      successfully manage and complete complex projects
• Ability to work with different IT and Business departments
• Fundamental knowledge of infrastructure technologies, including virtualized environments, storage systems, and cloud architecture.
• Knowledge of specific technologies such as, RHEL/OEL Operating Systems, Azure NetApp, and Exadata.
• Experience working with cloud technologies such as Azure and Oracle Cloud
